The purpose of ACEX Group presence in the Northern capital is all types of multimodal transportation by own operational possibilities implementation, not only through St. Petersburg, but also through all the Russian and Ukrainian main ports.
Sea freight department will be in charge of forwarding inside the Baltic ports (St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga), the Black Sea pool (Novorossiysk), the Sea of Azov (Azov), the river ports (Rostov-on-Don), the Pacific pool (Vladivostok, Nakhodka) and as well as in the ports of Ukraine (Odessa, Mariupol).
ACEX SPB Branch new possibilities will allow to offer to ACEX Group clients heavy lift cargo transportation and customs clearance:
- Cargo forwarding along all the door to door transportation process.
- Heavy lift and project cargo delivery of any complicity: long-measuring and heavyweight cargo, factory parts, turbines, power, mining, oil and gas equipment, small size vessels not only through St. Petersburg port but all over the world as well.
- Transportation demanding special equipment use such as FR and OT: trawls, railroad conveyors, sea/river crafts, barges, overload by means of heavy cranes etc.
- Forwarding agent responsibility insurance.
Vitaly Apalikov became the head of Heavy Lift and Project Department. Earlier Vitaly headed logistics departments in Marco Shipping, Universal transport Technologies, Glogos ltd. Vitaliy worked as a Director of Heavy Lift and Project Department for Hellmann East Europe ltd, MAJOR, STP companies.
New direct contracts with sea lines, ports and terminals will allow ACEX to render the listed professional services by its own resources without contractors as well as to adjust regular services on heavy lift cargo delivery all over Russia.
